The
rolling hills of southern Indiana are a good
place to carry a camera. Every hill top provides an opportunity
to take pictures. This picture was taken in November, 2004
inside Brown County State Park. The park offers many vantage
points that have been cleared to give a better view of the
beauty of Brown County. This picture was taken at Hesitation
Point.
Owen and Putnam Counties offer several scenic
views like this one taken at Cataract Falls SRA. The area
boasts two of the largest waterfalls in Indiana. Richard
Lieber SRA and Cagles Mill Reservoir, and the quaint village of
Cataract, Indiana are nearby. There is an old covered bridge
that crosses Mill creek there and in Cataract there is the Old
General Store to visit. If you plan to visit this area, be
sure to take a camera to record all the wonders to be seen. Take a
picnic or have Wayne at the store make you a sandwich and be
sure to get a bottle of "pop" from the old
"Coke" cooler to sip on while you check out all the
goodies in the store.
